A Wedding under the stars~

In order to try to relieve some stress about the heat that a summer wedding (in Texas) can bring, Youngsu and I talked about how great it would be to have an outdoor wedding AT NIGHT!

A Wedding Under the Stars~ Just think~ It'll be nice and cool and no need for extravagant decorations.  As Kelsey pointed out to me earlier in an email, the lanterns that I want would go great for decorations.  Plus everyone can come out and have a good time without worrying about getting off in time from work.

Also, we could have dinner under the stars and dancing and so much fun!

Our only issue to worry about would be bugs but that can easily be solved with nicely decorated insect repellant posts around the area we'll get married at.

I'm really excited about this plan because I can just imagine such a beautiful time together with family and friends enjoying the nice cool area and looking at the stars above~

The Perfect Dress~

sorry been a little M.I.A lately~ got too busy and too tired these days!  I hadn't really updated my other blog too!  This post is gonna be about some dress favorites I've picked out.  I had an idea of the dress I wanted to wear for both weddings but then my mind changes and feel that I won't really know until I try on THE dress.  but that won't happen for a while because I'm working on lose weight.

And update on the wedding date~  It has been changed to July instead of September because we'll get more time off to spend with my family at that time.  It's not stressing us out any because well we really can't start planning till he's finished with school in February.  Just a bit longer now~~

Now on to the dresses~  The first dress was/is my choice for the American wedding and the rest are just ideas for either wedding!

Also because we're getting married in Korea, as part of the Korean tradition, I'll be wearing Korean traditional clothing at the end of the wedding.  This is called a Hanbok and I pretty much have my heart set on this one~

Lovebirds Gone Wild... ^^

Hi all,

I'm Kelsey, Gabi's friend and I'll be posting ideas that correspond with Gabi's theme from time to time ^^ some of it she may like, some of it she may hate! LOL but you know, I try my best ^_~ plus, I LOVE weddings and everything to do with weddings! I've seen pretty much every wedding show out there, so I'm the perfect go to person with questions! ( not to brag or anything.... lol. in fact, that's probably an embarrassing confession... but I don't care! :-) Anywho, here are some things I found while browsing...

Too cute and SO easy to make! I also love the idea of couple photobooth pictures.. A-DORE-A-BLE! ^^

Here is a close up. Not sure I like the little quote, but that, obviously, is easy to change!

This goes along with Gabi's idea of birdcages and candles. I thought these center pieces were beautiful and would be fairly easy to make if you could find a good deal on antique birdcages.. lol.

close up. Love the moss detailing.

I thought the feather corsage/boutonniere was really cool! I think a mixture of azalea pink flowers with sea blue feathers would be so unique!

This would be very simple to do but is very unique at the same time. It's really nice if you're having an outside ceremony and inside reception. Helps tie the two together and keeps the earthy feel throughout the wedding!

Lots of lovebird stuff ^^

I loved this design! I just thought it was SO awesome that I had to post it!

And this is a perfect cake topper!

I actually saw this dress loooong before Gabi got engaged and saved it on my computer because it reminded me of Gabi ^^ not in the right colors for her theme, but still very beautiful I think!

This would be a pretty bridesmaid dress. It's available through a seller on ebay, custom made and colors can be altered.. so the green detail could become sea blue. Plus, it would be a nice korean touch to the wedding as it's a hanbok fusion gown. (Although I think Gabi has her bridesmaid dresses already picked out, I thought i'd add this anyway as i'm in love with it. lol)

Short center piece ideas. I've seen recently that the trend is to mix tall and short center pieces among the tables. It gives a nice effect and saves on cost!

Lots more bird tie-ins for consideration.

I know that a lot of my pictures had to do with the "lovebird" aspect of the wedding and I know it's not entirely the theme, but I found SO many great ideas I had to post theme! ^^

Flowers~~

I still haven't decided what kind of flowers to carry down the isle and to have my sister carry as my Maid of Honor~~~ So here are just ideas of what I want~~
Love these flowers!~~ ^^  and it'd be good for my sister to carry~~

COLORFUL!!!!!   I really love them~!!  there kinda fall-ish

Fall wedding flowers~

Decorations~

So we're hoping for the nice outdoor wedding~ with an outdoor reception.

For the table decorations, we'd like to keep it nice and simple.  To go with the outdoor theme, I found some candle lanterns to put on the tables.  (click the pictures to go the website~~)

Chair decorations are nice and simple~~...

Bride and Groom chairs~

Just Married signs~~

Table numbers but I thought it'd be nice to have our pictures on them~

Cake~~

So picking a cake is a bit hard because we'll see one and really like it and then see another one and another.  So here I'm going to put a cake that recently caught my eye and the two before that we've thought about.  We want a mix of chocolate and vanilla hopefully~.  On the first pictures, you can click and go to the page of the wedding that I got the idea from.
